HILLS OF ART, 2021
An artificial hermitage marked by history, lies on the hill overlooking Turin, surrounded by a natural context in which colors and the succession of seasons prevail. The geometries of Villa Altissimo dress the frenetic optimism that marked the Piedmontese 18th century. Now it is a place to take refuge from the rhythms of the city, in a combination of relax and creativity preserved in the historical forms of the place, which are synthesized through art and the possibility of being able to express it. The architectural monoliths, born from the emphasis of the primordial and repetitive arches, thus assumes the role of moderating and stimulating the flow between productivity and unproductivity. Between relax and artistic production on a circular path. The functions of the new structure interact with each other, thanks to the possibility of making it a sensorial experience starting from architecture. The spaces dedicated to the on-site stay take on museality alternating service and exhibition.
The portico, sprouted in the architectural backdrop and fragmented in the Art Cabins and monoliths, immerses the visitor in a dialogue between inside and outside guiding them through its sacred forms and the view of Turin skyline.
Finally, the depandance condenses the synthesis of artistic creation within it: from thought to exhibition through spaces in which create alone or together.

Cave di Bauxite, OTRANTO

La proposta progettuale per le cave di bauxite di Otranto si contestualizza in un area nel quale attualmente non possibile costruire. Tuttavia, considerando il potenziale turistico dell’area si avvalora l’idea di un intervento in grado di riconnetterlo con la città e inglobarlo in un percorso turistico più tutelato e inglobato nel territorio. L’intervento ha quindi l’obiettivo di sensibilizzare i visitatori ad avere una maggiore consapevolezza del paesaggio e della capacità della natura di rimediare agli errori umani. Il tutto, attraverso l’arte e le esperienze sensoriali possibili attraverso l’unione tra architettura arte e paesaggio. In questo caso specifico guardare il territorio con gli occhi dell’artista di LandArt è stato un esercizio utile per dimenticarsi quindi tem- poraneamente di tecnicismi e concentrarsi sul territorio e sulla memoria di quest’ultimo. Favorire la continuità è stato utile non solo a comprendere meglio la ferita sul territorio ma anche a mettere in luce i nuovi punti attraverso il quale la proposta progettuale è stata ideata. Alternare quindi all’andamento naturale del terreno l’intervento artificiale caratterizzato da tagli e aggiunte geometri- che in grado di mettere in luce la topografia del paesaggio e attribuirgli una funzione.
RAMMED EARTH HOUSE, 2020
Rammed Earth House aims to amplify that feeling of memory still experienced today. The events of the place suggested by the land and the vegetation that takes its course without any anthropic element interfering with it. The technical arrangements dialogue with shapes, which opens its views of the rural environment through regular and geometric windows and curved cuts that sculpt light and shade on the simple shapes of the interior. It is only through light sounds and smells that it’s possible imagine this place, attributing it to a dream or a memory, of which this architecture wants to be a servant..
